Rick Stewart, PT, DPT, OCS, Cert. DN
Rick graduated from the University at Buffalo with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2005. He has since become an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and is also certified in Dry Needling by the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy. Rick has extensive training in vestibular, balance and vertigo dysfunctions.
Rick spent the last few years developing modifications to knee Continuous Passive Motion devices for which he earned a US patent. The device is called thekneemobilizer.com
Rick especially likes to treat athletes, runners, joint replacements, TMJ dysfunction, back/neck/shoulder/knee pain, and balance/vertigo.
Rick’s passion is for his patients to not just live, but to fully enjoy life. To not just exist, but to thrive. Rick encourages his patients to be healthy physically, mentally, socially and spiritually. Research shows that good social, family and mental health have a strong impact on a person’s physical health.
Outside of work Rick enjoys time with his wife, Melissa, and two children. He stays active running and competing in obstacle course racing. Rick also enjoys time with his church family.

Joseph Hoffman, PTA
Joe studied at Longwood University in Virginia where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology. After graduating, Joe pursued a career as a Sports Performance Coach where he trained athletes of all ages to reach their peak performance in high school, collegiate, and recreational sports. Joe then decided to pursue his passion for physical therapy and attended Riverside College of Health Careers in Virginia where he trained to be a Physical Therapist Assistant. Joe has a passion for treating orthopedic disorders and enjoys guiding patients through various therapeutic interventions. Outside of therapy, Joe enjoys the outdoors, fitness, and spending time with his family.
Melissa Stewart
Melissa graduated from the University at Buffalo with a bachelor’s of science in Exercise Science. In her collegiate years, she was captain of the Track and Field and Cross Country teams. After college Melissa worked as a personal trainer, helping her clients achieve their fitness goals.
Primarily, Melissa is our receptionist, processes our billing, and serves as Office Manager but with her excellent understanding of the human body, she occasionally acts as our therapy tech. Melissa does all this while being a mother to two busy children.
